This standard was evaluated at the result of the DFPS investigation, and the standard was found to be deficient as the caregiver was found reason to believe for physical abuse. The caregiver was found flick children on the nose and mouth. The caregiver was swatting children on the bottom and slapping them on the cheek. There was bruising to a child thigh where the caregiver was observed to have grabbed the child earlier in the day. Also, as the result of DFPS investigation and the standard was found to be deficient as the second caregiver was found reason to believe for neglect supervision. The second caregiver in the classroom observed the behavior and prohibited discipline by the other caregiver in the room and did not intervene or report it to management.
