After review of the video footage from the date and time of the allegation, it was determined that the caregiver did somewhat hit or smack the child on his side leg before picking him up and taking over the sink. At the time of the investigation inspection compliance had already been met, as the caregiver was dismissed immediately following the incident the day before. A new caregiver is now present in the classroom and additional training has been provided to the caregivers.
